With some detour, after we were sent away at a border crossing 'not intended for international traffic' (What? It's f*cking EU, no?), we arrive near the border with Montenegro. The nature gets greener and wilder. And the stress and missery of Herzgovina slowly fades away and makes place for peace, forest, deep gorges and higher mountains.
We pass a wintersport construction area. Ok, we saw the lift but besides that, nothing than gravel, stones, huge amounts of mud and steep ascents and descents.
Up to Montenegro...

It's a lousy picture, but it is the third largest gorge in the world. Exceptionally beautiful!!!!!!
What an entrance... For everybody interested: Montenegro is a country that lays very isolated in the Balkan, but equiped with all comfort needed. It has a good national airport and is easy reacheable from the west. Those who wants to see extraordinary nature and thinks that the Pyrenees, Alps or Dolomites are rough, should come and have a look here and for sure visit Durmitor National Park (UNESCO world herritance).

Riding is very nice here, but one has to be careful for drivers coming from the opposite direction...
From Montenegro we drive to Albania. Finally! Both countries are easy and free to enter and crossing each other borders is no problem what so ever!
